The team is no stranger to the Kawasaki brand, having run the Kawasaki MX Experience for a number of years, helping both new and experienced riders hone their off-road skills in a fun, safe and controlled environment. The team made the step up to the British MX series for 2025, showing promise with results that continued to improve across the eight rounds.
For 2026, the team will become the official Kawasaki entry, fielding Joel Rizzi in the MX2 class, who returns to Team Green, having previously enjoyed success on the KX85 and also securing several race wins on the KX250 in the British series in 2024.
His teammate will be Charlie Cole, who will race the MXGP-conquering KX450 in the MX1 class. Cole has also enjoyed a strong history with the brand and will be looking to take a step forward next year, with a strong winter training program in place.
Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki Motors UK:
“Craig and the team have done a fantastic job this season for their first year, already achieving results beyond their expectations and providing Kawasaki with a strong paddock presence. With these new plans in place, we are hopeful for an even bigger step forward in 2026 and highlighting just how competitive not only the team, but the KX250 and KX450 can be!”
Craig Chamberlain, Team Owner
“We are proud to confirm this new official partnership with Kawasaki UK for the 2026 British Motocross Championship. It marks an exciting step forward for the team and was an opportunity that Chad (Yarranton, team co-owner) and I simply couldn’t refuse.
Kawasaki’s heritage and commitment to racing excellence make them the perfect partner for our future ambitions. With Joel and Charlie on board, we’re confident in building a strong and competitive presence in both classes. It’s certainly an exciting time ahead.”
