Roger DeCoster has confirmed the Coenen brothers are likely heading to America 2026 to learn supercross and race some events that don’t clash with MXGP, with a view to moving permantently in 2027!
Roger told us: “They definitely want to come over here, they are going to probably do a few races next year when there is no coniflicting GP schedule and then they hope they can learn supercross well enough to come over full time the following year.
So will the Coenen’s be at Anaheim? “We don’t know yet because they have no experience in supercross, they need to find out where they sit and where their level is.“
It will be interesting to see how the rapid 18 year old talents can adapt to the new discipline, having the Belgian brothers at A1 would certainly add a lot of excitement to what is already the most exciting event of the year alongside the MXoN.

After the speed they showed at Ironman, the US fans should be very excited to get to see another pair of ultra-talented brothers making the switch from Europe to America sooner rather than later, no doubt hoping to emulate the Lawrence family success Stateside.
