Results matter in SMX, especially this weekend in St Louis with double points and even more so next weekend in Las Vegas with triple points, leading to riders getting the chance for a big payday. On the flipside, one mistake can cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars!
Even 22nd will get you $22,000 in the 450 class with the winner collecting a cool $1 million dollars for a three race series that rewards performance under pressure, especially in the final two rounds.
If you crash on the last lap of the final lap in Vegas, costing you the championship, you will still get half a million dollars for second, but you also lose half a million dollars by missing out on that million! Third place is half that again at $250,000.
In the 250 class the winner gets $500,000, second $250,000 and third $125,000. It’s big money on the line that will pay the privateers well in the 450 class but up front, mistakes will cost you a lot of money,.
Le’s see who can deal with the pressure the best in St Louis and Las Vegas over the next two weekends as Jett Lawrence, Hunter Lawrence, Chase Sexton, Cooper Webb, Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen, all have their eyes on taking home one million dollars so they can enjoy their off-season just a little bit more.
It’s payday in the USA!
