A disappointed Dean Wilson says he is banged up and disappointed after a big crash while running second in the main event during the AX World Tour main event in Abu Dhabi!
Wilson got the rhythm section wrong and was ejected off his bike, landing very hard on terrafirma, fortunately nothing seems broken!
Wilson said: “Ah man. So gutted how my night ended in Abu Dhabi @arenacrossworldtour 😔 The day was going perfect with P-1 in timed quali and 1-1 in my heat. Was leading the main & then it got red flagged🚩 Restart came from 6th to 2nd started to make a push for the lead & spun off the take off and went for a ride & lost the championship. Frustrated but things could be worse. Pretty beat up but we live to fight another day. Thank you to the @stblazeymx Honda boys & @armor_vision for everything also big thank you to Bailo spinning the spanners. Gutted I didn’t deliver for you guys. But that’s the way she goes sometimes you never know when you’re gonna get bit. Overall what an unreal event racing in the Middle East! Crowd was so good and the vibes were all time. Time to heal up🫡”
