Who will be on the Ducati in the US for 2026? Justin Barcia, Malcolm Stewart, Ken Roczen or someone else?
It’s one of the big talking points heading into next year already and, with the success of Guadagnini and Seewer in MXGP already, it underlines the potential of the machine and is probably attracting a lot of interest Stateside.
Ken Roczen’s name has been linked for a while, and he would give huge global visibilty with his name, talent and speed a potential winner the world would be watch, perfect for the Ducati brand. But with the Ducati team run by TLD, would he be able to keep his FOX gear deal?
Justin Barcia is a rider that is being HEAVILY linked with the seat right now. Barcia wears TLD gear, and rode for the TLD team under the Gas Gas brand, Barcia’s ceiling isn’t quite as high as Roczen’s but he is still more than capable of top five results and is a big name for the brand. Another rider linked is Malcolm Stewart, again a strong name, a fan favourite and a rider who just won his first supercross this year.
Kris Keefer, a Triumph test rider was in conversation with Jase McAlpine, give their thoughts on the impending development, with RJ Hampshire in the conversation as well as Jason Anderson, and, with Triumph also on the lookout for 450 riders all the names mentioned could also apply to them as well – a great time for the sport.
