Deegan close to Tomac’s speed?

Watch Haiden Deegan’s latest vlog to see the Star Yamaha team prepping for 2025 at the GOAT farm with Deegan lining up against Tomac and having a battle.

Deegan is determined to win his first supercross title this season before he moves 450 and there isn’t many better to gauge your speed off than the new WSX champ who has two AMA 450 titles in his back pocket.

And Tomac said he feels much better than he did this time a year ago in thr Star Yamaha press release:

“I’m excited for 2025. For me the most important thing was to do my best to come in healthy, and as of now, I am a lot stronger than I was the year before. In 2024, I felt like I had a rushed preparation time, so I’ve done a lot of racing leading up to this point, and it should keep me sharp. To be sharp, coming into Anaheim is going to be very important. As usual, it’s going to be a very packed gate with a lot of guys that can win. I believe I am in a better position than the year before. I’ve had good results with the off-season racing and will try and continue that in the New Year.”

While Deegan, who has now confirmed he is racing West coast 250s, said he’s ready to go racing:

“It’s been a good off-season. 2024 was a great year, but I still have some things to check off the list on the 250. We’ve been putting in the work, and we can’t wait to go racing.”
