Andrea Bonacorsi had a strong ride on his Yamaha to win the opening moto from Slovenian privateer, Jan Pancar who continues to impress. Cedric Soubeyras was third ahead of Alessandro Lupino.
It was the perfect day for Bonacorsi as he also won race two as Pancar impressed yet again. They set an impressive pace at the front as third placed, Alessandro Lupino was over a minute off the lead but he won the championship – a historic title for Ducati during their first season in the sport.
