Now a four-time world champ, Jorge Prado says he feels relaxed after clinching his second MXGP title in a row, with the pressure finally off!
An at ease Prado said: “Always happy to represent Spain and come to the event. MXoN, it moves a lot of people and a lot of fans come watch. For us it is also nice to come to tracks like this, Matterley isa good track with many ruts normally, bigger jumps than we usually have in MXGP, just try to enjoy the track. We know the job is done for the season, no pressure and enjoy the riding.
Does he feel more relaxed that a week ago? “Oh yeah, way more! For a few months it was difficult to sleep, I was always worrying about the title. I really wanted to win, the pressure didn’t make it easy. But once we finally clinched that title everything changed and I had a great week, just way more relaxed, enjoying life. It changed a lot, way more relaxed. The goal is done for the season, I did a great job and now we are here to do our best with Spanish team, enjoy the weekend, enjoy the track and hopefully we have a great MXoN.”
