Race One: It was a battle of the Frenchies in the first race as the two leading riders swapped positions a number of time. In the end it was Enzo Herzogenrath who got the better of Rafael Mennillo but there wasn’t much in it.
Seth Thomas finished third with American Gauge Brown fourth. It wasn’t the race that Lucas Leok would have wanted as he buried on the first lap outside the top twenty – he got all the way back to fourth before he made another mistake which meant he only finished eighth.
Race Two: After winning the first moto, the first lap was a disaster for Herzogenrath which meant he had to go off track and he lost too much time – that was his championship chase over.
At the front, Leok showed just how fast he is and dominated proceedings winning by a minite. Mennillo rode a smart race to come home in second to become the champion.
It was Thomas who ended up on the podium after finishing sixth in race two.
Harley Marczak had a good ride for the Brits to bring home fifth for the Brits.
