Race One: Chanse Hymas took a brilliant moto one win to break Haiden Deegan’s win streak to win by nearly 50 seconds over the Star Yamaha rider. But Deegan did well to maintain second after his bike started to have issues, forcing Deegan, when he had Hymas in his sights with ten minutes to go, to slow down and not even jump the big jumps due to his smoking Yamaha. Thankfully for Deegan the duo had fifty seconds over third and Haiden upped rthe pace on the last lap to keep Marchbanks at bay and keep his overall hopes alive. But there will be no perfect 22-0 season for Haiden Deegan!

Race Two: Chance Hymas and Haiden Deegan checked out from the field by nearly a minute but it was Hymas who took the win despite a charge by Deegan until a crash halted his progress. Deegan still put on a late charge but Hymas upped his pace again to ensure he went 1-1 to end the moto and overall streak Deegan had going at the first two rounds. Levi Kitchen passed Jo Shimoda to get on the podium with two laps to go as Mikkel Haarup came from last after a crash on lap one all the way back to 12th in a great ride.
