It was Ken Roczen who got the start in the final moto of the day at a very rough and tricky hard pack circuit. Jett Lawrence this time avoided trouble and made moves on Prado and Renaux on the opening lap.
The pair then pulled away at the front but when Lawrence made his move he pulled away to dominate but it was Roczen who won the MXGP overall on his Suzuki. Renaux looked content in third but responded when Prado put the pressure on with a couple of laps to go to finish third.
Febvre didn’t get a good start and after passing Alberto Forato came home in seventh but it was enough for the French to win the Nations in front of a crazy home crowd.
