Zach Osborne – 450 podium!

It’s been a long time coming but 29 year old Zach Osborne through hard work, persistence, desire and talent finally made it to the podium in a 450 supercross – and he could have even won it!
Osborne had passed Webb to take the lead but came up short on a jump coming into the corner and came to a stop high on the berm losing the lead. to eventual winner Webb.
Osborne, who broke his collarbone just before the start of the season, struggled find his pre-season form after playing catch-up once he rejoined the races six weeks later, but now he is showing the speed and form many had predicted before his injury.
A British and US national champion, MX2 GP winner, 250 supercross champ and now a 450 supercross podium, Osborne has had a very well rounded and successful career so far but you can bet he wants some 450 wins indoors and out now he has the taste of the podium!
“It’s pretty incredible to take my first podium today in the 450 class after some trials and tribulations to start the season,” commented Osborne. “To finally be up here feels pretty incredible and gives me a lot of motivation to continue working on going on the path that I’m on.”
Jason Weigandt caught up with Osborne after his podium to get his feelings on accomplishing a major goal for his rookie 450 supercross season.
