Who now to 24MX Lucas Oil Honda?

After being unbelievably unlucky with injuries with poor Ken De Dycker (leg) and Matiss Karro (knee) in the last few days, 24MX Lucas Oil Honda are facing a mad scramble to get suitable replacement riders for Qatar and beyond.

Honda of course possess fast riders within their national championship ranks with Valentin Telliet and Graeme Irwin especially coming to mind as the leading contenders. Both riders have shown good speed in pre-season international races by running with and beating some Grand Prix regulars.

Kristian Whatley has the talent too for MXGP level competition as does Jeremy Delince And Jeremy DeWulf from Belgium. Of course pre-existing contracts can all come into play and it might not be as easy as it seems but if you are sponsoring a Honda GP team like 24MX and Lucas Oil and you are putting big money into a team then surely you would expect Honda Europe to have the power to be able to reach a compromise with national teams and get the best riders Honda have available at national level?
