Whatley and Houghton IN for Hawkstone International!
Hawkstone International have announced that Yamaha UK trio of Kristian Whatley, Ryan Houghton and Robbie Dowson are confirmed to compete on the 11th Feb 2018.
The official announcement was made on Facebook saying: “The first big British team has signed up for the Be Wiser Insurance Hawkstone International MX on the 11th Feb 2018
“Rob Hooper racing have confirmed their attendance with riders Kristian Whatley, Ryan Houghton and Robbie Dowson.
“Former British Champion Whatley has missed most of the 2017 season after sustaining a nasty injury earlier in the year.
“We caught up with him about Hawkstone;
“I’m excited to get racing again and back into the motions of it all. Obviously I’ve been out for 6 months due to a broken femur that was more complicated than anyone hoped!
“Everything is coming on good now and I’m keen to get back into the swing of things.
“It’ll be an interesting one to see where I am with the bike and my fitness. Hawkstone is always a great event and I look forward to racing there.”
Always a great opening to the season, expect more big names to be announced in the coming weeks.
