Video: Paulin GoPro of controversial yellow flag incident

Gautier Paulin says that not all the yellow flags were waving when he went by the section that ultimately saw the Frenchman docked two positions (4th to 6th) for jumping on a waved yellow. It was the same section that cost Jorge Prado and Romain Febvre two spots and robbed Prado of the GP win.

Paulin said: “Today I was penalized for jumping under yellow flag that’s my mistake. But on the way out one flag was agitated the other marshal pulled his flag and nobody was down.”

Meanwhile Jorge Prado replied to the post saying “ Not your mistake but theirs…what a joke this is.”

While Febvre said: “3 riders including myself have been penalized because of some yellow flag that we could not see and we were already jumping… Unfair, as we are professional riders and if we see yellow flag we won’t jump as the rules and risks are! But as they told us today, we can’t protest, we are already loosing before we do some! Nice rules…”
