Jeffrey Herlings went down pretty hard trying to take pole position from title rival Tim Gajser in Latvia!

Luckily the Dutchman was unhurt and would eventually put in another lap that would put him third quickest but he couldn’t get close to Gajser’s time, sixth tenths off the flying Slovenian.
