Jeremy Van Horebeek contested the Le Touquet for the second time but this year went to plan as he managed to make it to the finish and not only that but finish as a runner up. The SR-Honda rider lost out on the win to Milko Potisek. Van Horebeek is happy with the second but is still a bit disappointed not to go one better and take the win.

The tough Belgian has plenty of racing experiences and says the Le Touquet was the hardest day of his career, it shows just how tough the event really is. “So, I did not get what I wanted but I gave everything – my mind and body could handle the hardest day of my career but it was close. P2 @ Le Touquet is not bad but it doesn’t mean I’m not disappointed. I went to war for more than 3 hours and for only my second time at the Le Touquet beach, I think we have to look back and be happy. I want to thank all the fans from all over the World for the support and all the messages. Also, the biggest thank you to my team @teamhondasr @josse_sallefranque and everybody from @hondamotofr and every single person involved in this journey. Sorry to all the riders I hit during the race but I hope you enjoyed the show ! Let’s dance”, Van Horebeek stated.

The Belgian will now turn his attentions back to Motocross and start to prepare for the MXGP World Championship, the first round of the series heads to Matterley Basin on the  29th of February and the 1st of March. Van Horebeek will be hoping to have a good season under the SR-Honda awning once again.
