Vaclav Kovar from Czech Republic currently sits seventh in the EMX300 Championship as he’s been contesting the series on a GAS GAS. Kovar had a bad first round to the series but has gradually been improving.
In Russia which hosted the last round of the EMX300 series, Kovar got himself on the box by finishing third overall which was very impressive. However, the Czech will swap his GAS GAS two stroke this weekend for a four stroke Yamaha and contest in the MXGP World Championship taking place at Germany.
Rentor Yamaha, a small team from Czech Republic has given Kovar the opportunity of racing against the best riders in the world this weekend.
Kovar: “To race in MXGP is a dream of any mx rider and it’s the same for me. I race in the EMX300 series and this is good opportunity to gain some speed. If I was able to get some points it would be a huge satisfaction for me. I’d like to thank the Rentor team for organising this chance, all my personal sponsors, mechanic, family, girlfriend and all people who support me”.
