Two American’s sign up for UKAX!

Two new-for-2017 American Pro riders will join the Arenacross Tour for the final two rounds of the exhilarating British indoor racing series.

Making a welcome return to the series is Washington’s Collin Jurin who raced for the MotoHead-backed XBladez team last year, until his progress was brought to a sharp halt at Sheffield due to an incident which resulted in shoulder injury. At the time, the twenty-four-year-old was challenging for a heat win, having made steady progress as the championship unfolded. Despite missing the final two rounds – ironically the very same rounds he will now contest – he finished 13th overall in the Pro class. The Husqvarna rider is currently leading the Arenacross series back home and, with some AX experience under his belt, he should be on the pace.

Californian Dylan Schmoke, has been a pro since 2011 and has contested some US 450 Nationals and 250 West Coast Supercross. He’s also been a test rider for the KTM factory team. In 2014 and 2015 he raced in Canada. He did their full outdoor series and finished 10th in 2014 and 9th overall in 2015. He currently races a KTM so the switch to Husky should be an easy one.

The XBladez team has fielded Danish rider Frederick Hojris in the Pro Lites class. He’s been getting stronger every round in the midst of a very strong line-up. He is currently 11th overall.

Arenacross simply never stands still; to continue to attract such talent at this stage of the game is testament to the value placed on this first-rate series by leading riders from around the world.
