Tommy Searle injury update – OUT for Belfast

After a crash at the opening round of the Arenacross UK series which took place in Manchester, unfortunately, Tommy Searle hasn’t escaped injury.

The experienced British rider injured his thumb and has already had surgery but he will miss the double header at Belfast this weekend.

The Dirt Store Kawasaki team have confirmed that French rider, Thomas Do will replace him this weekend in Belfast.

Do will join the rest of the Brits and America’s Justin Bogle in the Arenacross UK line up.

The team posted the following update below:

“TOMMY OUT.  THOMAS IN. Unfortunately Tommy Searle’s crash in Manchester has ruled him out of Belfast. He’s had surgery on his thumb, and we’ll keep you updated on his recovery progress.

Tommy WILL be at Arenacross UK to meet you all and cheer on the team, so get your tickets and come and meet the team!

Frenchman Thomas Do will join the Dirt Store Kawasaki team to fill in for Searle, so you’ll see him in Belfast this weekend!

See you all there”
