They are statistically the two greatest riders ever in world motocross history and back in 2006 they were Yamaha teammates!

Watch as Everts and Cairoli ride at a practice track where you can compare their contrasting riding styles that have led to an astonishing 18 world titles between them. Ten of course went to Everts with Cairoli currently on eight and still chasing Everts’ record.

It is a fascinating film that shows the changing of the guard, 2006 was Everts last year in pro racing, he won his tenth world title that season while Cairoli was the defending MX2 champ having just won his first of eight titles the year before in 2005.
