Cooper Webb held off a charging Eli Tomac to take the win at round 12 in Salt Lake City early race leader Zach Osborne taking third place.

Both Tomac and Roczen got terrible starts and the duo battled for the first half of the race coming through the pack until Tomac got his groove, passed Roczen and worked his way into second and onto the back wheel of Webb leaving Roczen mired in fifth.

It means Tomac now has a 13 points lead in the championship over Roczen.

In the 250 class it was a disaster for championship leader Chase Sexton who went down early in the race and could only come back to fourth with Shane McElrath winning once again to go level on points with the Sexton at the top of the championship – it’s all to play for now on the East!
