Stuart Edmonds has got an entry for the German MXGP this weekend on-board his KMP Repsol Honda, he has been competing in the ADAC German championship.

Here are a few words from Stuart:

“This week i head to Germany for my first GP with the KMP Repsol Honda team! I decided to head over a few days early so that i could get some testing in with the team on Wednesday and also ride the race bike as its power is a lot different to my stock practice bike. I feel it takes me most of Saturday to get used to the bike so with me going early I’ll feel more in tune with the Bike at the GP. We will test Wednesday do some light training Thursday and then load up the truck and bikes so that we arrive in Teutschenthal late that evening or early Friday morning to set up the awning and truck etc.

I like to walk the track Friday early and possibly again in the evening provided my ankle is not to sore! Just so i know exactly where the track goes and that it will not take me long to dial it in on the bike.
Saturday will be free practice Qualifying practice and then also a race so it will be busy and all about putting good laps in and getting a good grid position. Sunday will be a warm up with 2 35minute motos. Its going to be hard but i aim to get points. Its going to be a very hard goal but i know if i ride well and smooth its achievable. I’ve made some brilliant steps these past few weeks and i just keep building each weekend. After the GP i will go back to the Teams base near Hockenheim race circuit. Spend my week with them and get out for another two days prior to the Adac championship that weekend. I know these two weeks will be crucial for me and also the team spending time with them and also on the bike will be great for my confidence and also bike set up as we are always wanting to improve. It will be a busy 2 weeks but i know it will be very good for me and I am looking forward to bringing home results that I know I am able to achieve”
