Strijbos OUT for France!
Unfortunately, after his crash during the Spanish GP, Kevin Strijbos got bad news from his doctor. He has a fracture in his wrist and is definitely out of action for the French GP taking place this weekend. Due to a bad weekend in Spain Kevin dropped to eighth in the world standings. He will be hoping to return to action in England so that he won’t lose too many more points.
He give us the following update on his facebook page: “I will not be riding in France this weekend. Went to the doctor for a last check up and I have a fracture in the joint capsule of the wrist, its still pretty swollen and no movement. Need some MRI scan tomorrow to see what’s gonna happen . Hope to be back in England!”
Suzuki face an anxious wait to see if Townley will get the all clear to ride this weekend. If he can’t make it to the starting line then Seewer will be the only Factory rider competing in the MX2 class. However, they do have Bas Vaessen competing in the EMX250 championship as well.
