SR Honda to run EMX250 team in 2021

Ten years after having launched his own team that has become over the years the Honda France SR Motoblouz team, Josse Sallefranque launches a Junior Team that will tackle the French MX2 and European 250 championships with two young talents.

A few weeks after the team has celebrated its tenth national title, Josse Sallefranque and his partners are embarking on a new adventure by setting up a structure intended to prepare the future with young riders. This is how the Junior Team was born, which will therefore field two riders in 2021.

“Thanks to the support of our partners, the Honda France SR Motoblouz team is taking on a new challenge for young riders. For some time now, we have been wanting to create such a structure, which with the help of Fabien Pilloud is being created at the time of our tenth anniversary,” stated Josse, who has been able to unite many loyal partners around him.

The team will therefore field two young riders, Matheo Miot (20 years old) and Luca Diserens (17 years old), who will have the 250 CRF Honda CRFs at their disposal to compete in the French Elite MX2 and European EMX250 championships.

French U23 champion in 2018, Swiss Luca Diserens has just joined Matheo Miot, who shined last weekend at the Pro Hexis Sand Race in Loon Plage.

“Our two young riders are followed physically by Willy Bousleiman, who is no longer present, and will be coached on a daily basis by Christophe Meyer who joined us this summer to take care of the preparation of the riders. With four riders in the team we needed to structure ourselves even better, so Hervé Hagnéré (Tip Top) is now working full-time for us in a new workshop; Aurélien Riccobene and Benjamin Manacke with whom we went for nine titles are back in the team, and everyone is highly motivated for this new challenge.

The championships are due to start on March 14 in Castelnau de Lévis (France) for the Elite, and on May 16 in Agueda (Portugal) for the Europe 250. But until then, Matheo Miot will be at the start of the next sand races, including the Enduropale du Touquet on January 24, together with Nathan Watson and Lars Van Berkel.
