Spies IN for Faenza GP triple header

With Alberto Forato unfortunately ruled out for the next rounds of the MX2 World Championship due to a collarbone injury, his EMX250 team mate, Maximilian Spies will race the MX2 World Championship triple header at Faenza.

The young German has made big improvements this year and sits thirteenth in the EMX250 championship standings. Considering he didn’t qualify for the opening round at Valkenswaard he’s managed to turn his season around at Kegums and looks much improved.

Faenza will be his first taste of MX2 World Championship action but it’ll be a chance for him to learn for the future.

“I am happy to inform you that I will be at the start of the next 3 MX2 World Championship races in Faenza. Thanks to my team Husqvarna Junior Maddii for trusting me. It’s going to be new to me, but I can only learn by racing with the world’s best riders”, Spies stated on social media.
