Simpson wins Sainte Austreberthe International!

Shaun Simpson who has already won a round of the MXGP World Championship this season and sits eleventh in the world standings competed at the Sainte Austreberthe International event. Shaun had a great day in France winning all three moto’s on his Wilvo Yamaha to clinch the overall on the day.
Jordi Tixier who has had to miss the last three MXGP races due to injury made a return to racing at the International event and finished second in all the moto’s as he used the race to get some race time in before his GP return in Latvia this weekend.
Gert Krestinov who won the British Championship at Canada Heights the day before competed the event on his Phoenix Tools Honda and was strong, he finished third in all the moto’s for third overall.
It was nice to see the former MX3 World Champion, Pierre-Alexandre Renet compete at a motocross race again and he ended up a strong fourth overall.
