Young Finn, Miro Sihvonen is a rider with a lot of talent but hasn’t had it easy with injuries to say the least. Sihvonen has competed in the first two opening rounds of his National championship and he made progress at the weekend finishing third overall.

Harri Kullas and Kim Savaste were the two riders ahead of Sihvonen and he’ll plan on closing the gap as the series continue. Sihvonen has described Motocross as the toughest sport on the planet or at least one of them.

“After today I can once again say that this is the toughest f***ing sport on the planet, or at least one of them. I was really really dead after both motos today but I managed make it on the box. Been so long away from racing so it’s no wonder on the rough circuit of Tampere. Feels good after the disaster last weekend in the muddy first round of the Finnish championship. Probably the biggest positive of today was the pole position in the time practise. We’ll continue to work towards the top step of the podium. It just takes time”, Sihvonen stated.
