It’s only a few years ago it seemed like Miro Sihvonen had such a bright future but injuries haven’t been kind to him, especially his knee problems.

The young Finn has got himself a good change for the 2020 season after signing a deal with Dutch team, SKS Husqvarna which will see him race the MX1 Dutch Masters of Motocross and also selected MXGP rounds.

“I want to thank the Husqvarna of Holland for helping me with the contact and discussing with them.  My expectations and goals are pretty much to have a good consistent season without any injuries after a long time but that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to reach the top.  We will see more after the beginning of the season”, Sihvonen told GateDrop.com.

The injuries have been tough for Sihvonen but he’s determined to have a strong 2020 season and believes he’s in the best physical shape of his life.

“It was so tough physically and mentally to be trying to come back all the time meanwhile my knee couldn’t take all the training load. But I have finally recovered from the bad knee injury and after a long time I was able to put in the work during my rehab to become in the best physical shape of my life. The latest injury on my left shoulder and elbow has healed almost perfectly already”, added Sihvonen.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to those sponsors who still believed in me and came along. Also, I want to thank my trainer and certain people for helping me out in everything during the tough times”, he concluded.
