Setback for Rene Hofer!

Rene Hofer will miss the first round of the ADAC Championship taking place this weekend as it has been revealed that the talented Austrian has broken his finger.

Fortunately for Rene, unlike the EMX250 series the first round of the EMX125 series doesn’t get underway in Italy otherwise he would be a doubt for the first round.

The first round of the EMX125 series takes place in Valkenswaard which is good timing for him as it means he will be back in action for round one.

Rene broke the news via his Facebook page:

“Bad news…
I will miss the ADAC Youngster in Drehna, due to a broken finger. There’s a question mark behind the Austrian Championship in Paldau. But these races are not the important thing! Fortunately I will be back racing at the first GP of the EMX 125 season in Valkenswaard. That’s what counts! ✊️Thanks for the support! “
