SDM-Corse Racing thank Yamaha for a fantastic 4 years
The SDM-Corse Racing team have thanked Yamaha for the last four years. The team had some good results in the European and World Championships. This year finishing ninth in the MX2 World Championship with Ruben Fernandez was very impressive for a private team.
With Fernandez signing with 114 Motorsport Honda and Cervellin signing with JM Honda for the 2021 season, the team are on the look out for new riders for the 2021 season.
Whilst they haven’t officially confirmed they’ll be switching brands this has been rumoured and they’ve thanked Yamaha for the past four years.
It’s thought the team will focus on the MXGP World Championship in 2021 but we will continue to keep you up to date as and when we know more.
“This is the right time to thank everyone for the fantastic but very difficult 2020 season. We owe a special thanks to Yamaha Racing who allowed us for 3 consecutive years to be able to represent them as official team for the European EMX250 and in 2020 confirmed us the trust in the MX2 world championship and thanks also to our results to win the overall victory as manufacturer Yamaha MX2”, the team stated on social media.
“It has been a fantastic 4 years that have brought us excellent results, the season that has just ended has been the one that has given us so much satisfaction. We thank all those who have given us the necessary support to achieve our goals”, the team concluded.
