Sanayei to work with Joel Roelants

Joel Roelants is one rider who has a lot of experience in the Motocross world. The Belgian had a big accident in 2014 which sadly left him paralysed.
However, Roelants clearly loves the sport as he’s been a regular in the GP paddock ever since making a recovery. Last year, Roelants was helping Thomas Covington in the paddock and he had a good effect on him.
For the year ahead, Roelants will work with another American but this time in the form of DRT Kawasaki rider, Darian Sanayei.
Sanayei will be hoping working with Joel Roelants will be the thing that helps take him to the next level and battle for plenty of podiums in the MX2 World Championship.
“Joel is living in Belgium so it’s fairly close which means we can be hands on with training everyday which is really convenient. Thomas Covington recommended him to me and right when I started working with him this winter, I knew it was a good decision. I am fully focused on my season and happy to have Joel in my corner through it”, Sanayei told GateDrop.com.
