Ryan Houghton latest update – broken neck and femur

Ryan Houghton’s other half, Rebecca, has revealed that Ryan suffered a broken femur and neck after being caught up in a big first turn crash today at Blaxhall in the Maxxis British championship.

Fortunately Ryan’s neck will heal normally and he has no paralysis but he requires surgery on his femur in what is relatively good news after Houghton was airlifted to hospital.

We wish Ryan all the best in his recovery.

Hi everyone Ryan’s other half, not a post I thought I’d be posting but here goes..unfortunately as you probably know he was involved in the crash at Blaxhall today. He has suffered a broken femur which requires surgery and a broken neck which thankfully should not cause any further damage and will heal like any other bone. We really appreciate your well wishes and for the help and care we received today. As you can imagine it’s been the toughest day for us all.
