Rumour: New team in MXGP?

After Ricci Racing decided to call it a day and left the GP paddock that has left ICE ONE as the only Husqvarna team currently competing in the MXGP World championship. However, we could be about to see a new team in MXGP as Massignani Husqvarna could be stepping on-board in order to fill the gap left by Ricci Racing.

Massignani have ran Honda’s for a few years and have been competing in the European Championships but it is thought that they could now make the step to the MXGP class. Davide Guarneri has surprisingly been linked with them as well as Rui Goncalves so don’t be surprised to see these riders make the move if the team decide to move to the premier class.

If the team decides to make the transition it remains to be seen if they will contest all the rounds or only the European MXGP rounds.
