Rumour Mill: Cairoli to ride a 450 in Spain?

STR KTM man Jake Nicholls has let it be known on Twitter that he thinks Antonio Cairoli will be on a 450 KTM in Spain!

The Italian has won all his world championships with KTM on a 350 but was rumoured to be considering riding the 450 this season. In the end he stuck with the revamped 350 but at 30 points down after his crash in Spain, has AC decided he was having to ride too close to the edge on the 350 to run at the front?

After quoting @MXGP tweet of: “What are the bets @Antoniocairoli will be firing on all cylinders at MXGP of Spain?” Nicholls wrote (@JakeNicholls45), ” And on a 450.”

It remains to be seen if Nicholl’s prediction comes to fruition this weekend, but it is another interesting sub-plot in an already fascinating and unpredictable season!
