Young Dutch talent, Rick Elzinga had decided to start up his own team for the 2020 season using Husqvarna machinery which meant it wasn’t certain if he was going to race the entire EMX250 championship. The good news for Elzinga is that he’s now signed a deal with the TBS Conversions KTM Racing team which should help him take the pressure off running his own team.

It means we’ll see him race the entire EMX250 series once we can get back to racing whenever that may be and the deal will also run into the 2021 season as well.

“We’re in a strange time and it’s been quiet for a while but despite that, I can bring out something beautiful from today. I signed a contract on the 1st of May 2020 with the TBS CONVERSIONS KTM RACING TEAM”, Elzinga stated on social media.

“Stocked to announce you that we have added a new rider to the team. We are happy to welcome the Dutch boy Rick Elzinga for season 2020 and 2021! Rick will be racing for TBS Conversions Racing Team in the EMX250 races”, the team stated.

Young Belgian rider, Romain Delbrassinne recently left the team which has freed a spot up for Elzinga.
