Results: Prado and Herlings win qualifying races in Germany

Jorge Prado controlled the MX2 moto over his teammate as Jeffrey Herlings did likewise in  MXGP but said the track was too easy because it was so smooth.

Things didn’t go as well for Tony Cairoli, who was forced out of third and into kicking his start device off his own machine with a couple of laps to go after it got caught in his front wheel. Cairoli would cross the line in seventh.
