Results: MXGP of Germany

Jeffrey Herlings made a quick pass on Gautier Paulin to dominate race one as Gajser eventually took second from Paulin with five minutes left of the moto.

Tony Cairoli got a bad start and then crashed trying to pass Desalle for fifth as he lost more points to Herlings on an overly worked-on track with too many manufactured ruts in disced-up turns making it one-lined in many corners.

IT was deja-vu race two as Herlings passed Paulin in exactly the same spot for the win, but this time Gajser made his way into second early as the rest of the race turned fairly processional with Cairoli once again stuck behind Desalle this time in fifth position after Febvre crashed, losing 20 points to Herlings in a single weekend.
