Results: MX2 qualifying race Matterley Basin- Olsen wins!

Thomas Kjer Olsen won a superb MX2 race at the British GP after a great battle with Henri Jacobi ended with Olsen cutting across the front wheel of the aggressive German, putting Jacobi firmly in his place.

Jacobi and Watson battled hard for second with Jacobi getting the edge with a pass with just two laps to go. Watson had the lead early but didn’t quite have the intensity to go with Olsen early on but it was still a good ride for the Brit.

Mitch Evans was impressive again in fourth with Mewse riding great from outside the top ten including a crash into the back of Evans before re-catching the Aussie but running out of time to make another pass.
