Race results: RD5 Spanish Championship – Sergi Notario impresses on return!

At the fifth round of the Spanish Championship it was Eddie Wade (125cc), Iker Larranaga (MX2) and Jose Butron (MX1) who walked away victorious in their respective classes.

However, the story of the weekend was Sergi Notario who announced at the start of the season he was going to take a break from motocross.

Notario was back in action this weekend for his first motocross race of the year and ended up the podium finishing third overall. It remains to be seen what other events he’ll race but hopefully he sticks around as he showed he can be competitive.
