Race One: It was an exciting end to the end of the opening EMX250 race. Cas Valk was riding superb on his two-stroke Fantic at the front but with about three laps to go started to get caught by Quentin Prugnieres and Andrea Bonacorsi and then backmarkers started to come into play. Valk was able to navigate them nicely but they worked to Bonacorsi’s advantage passing Prugnieres for second on the very last lap.
Race Two: The two-stroke Fantic’s got brilliant starts in the second moto as they were 1-2-3 on the first lap. It was Valk leading the way and he pulled away at the front dominating the race and in truth whole event! Andrea Bonacorsi was on the move making passes and got up to second ahead of Hakon Osterhagen.
