Prado wins in France!

Prado wins in France!

It was a great weekend for Spanish sensation, Jorge Prado as not only did he win the GP but he gained ground on Pauls Jonass in the championship hunt. Prado gained 12 points on the MX2 World Champion in France which now means the pair are separated by 16 points as we head to Italy next week.

Jonass crashed on the first lap in the second moto and came back to sixth.

It was Thomas Covington who won the first moto of the weekend but after a bad start in the second moto he could only come back to third which meant the American had to be content with second overall.

Both of the Husqvarna riders got on the podium as Thomas Kjer Olsen rounded off the podium with a third overall.

The extremely talented Jago Geerts just missed out on the podium as he ended up fourth overall but he rode extremely well in the second moto to finish second behind Prado.

Stephen Rubini was the best French rider in front of his home crowd as he ended up twelth overall on his return from injury.
