Pourcel races again – and battled at the front!

Christophe Pourcel came out of retirement to race a French International for some fun and after taking second in qualifying finished second in the first moto behind Nico Aubin – beating current GP riders Shaun Simpson and Zach Pichon!

Pichon is showing some great speed on the 450 and while Simpson rebounded for a second after a fifth in the first race, Pourcel says he was battling with Aubin and Simpson in race two until a coming together with Simpson broke his chain.

In race three Pourcel says he took it easy due to a lack of race time but it’s always nice to see former champions back in action and it shows the talent of Pourcel that he has the speed to still mix it up with the pros!

Première course de l’année pour le plaisir. J’ai roulé 2h avant la course donc manque de roulage mais rouler avec mes potes d'enfance n'as pas de prix peut importe le résultat. 2eme de la Superpole 1ere manche : 2 2eme manche : je suis 2 en bagarre à 3 avec nico Aubin et Simpson , Simpson me rentre dedans et me casse le guide chaîne et la chaîne (erreur de course, vive le mx😁) 3eme manche: 5 , roulage plus tranquil car manque de roulage. Conclusion : Weekend au top. Merci à @motocross.sainte.austreberthe . Merci à @nicoaubin3 pour avoir mis du gaz, ça fait plaisir de rouler avec toi,on se connait depuis le minivert 65,un vrai plaisir de rouler ensemble. Merci à tout le monde pour votre gentillesse et votre aide et aussi à tous les pilotes avec qui j'ai roulé .
