Pellegrini to contest AMA Supercross
After resulting as the first Italian in history to qualify for a Main Event in 450 class, Angelo Pellegrini is ready for a new stars and stripes adventure.
His program foresees the participation to the first six events of the American “AMA World Supercross Championship” in the 450, the main category.
Despite Honda Motoconcepts team had planned to deploy the three riders Malcolm Stewart, Justin Brayton and Vincent Frisie, the team manager Tony Alessi (Mike and Jeff father) decided to support the Italian rider with a bike and special parts.
Angelo is very enthusiast for the chance and says “to race in the american Supercross has always been my dream. Even if I did it already in 2012 in the Lites and the past year in the 450 class, I still feel the same excitement I felt the first race. I’d like to thank Inukshuk agency for giving me the necessary support to realize this project and Roger Larsen (James Stewart/ Seven MX brand manager) for helping me finding a deal with Honda Motoconcepts).”
Below are the races, Pellegrini will compete in:
1) Anaheim California, 5 Jan 2019
2) Glendale Arizona, 12 Jan 2019
3) Anaheim California, 19 Jan 2019
4) Oakland California, 26 Jan 2019
5) San Diego California, 2 Feb 2019
