Paturel wins on his Marchetti KTM debut!
Benoit Paturel might have only signed for the Marchetti KTM team a few days ago but he’s already made his debut with the Italian team.
Paturel contested the French International race, the Thomer La Sôgne and took three holeshots as well as three race wins.
Paturel faced some tough competition as Gregory Aranda and Xavier Boog rounded off the podium at the Thomer La Sôgne event.
It will have been good preparation for the French rider and he will contest his first GP of the year at the MXGP of Trentino this weekend. It will also be his MXGP debut after contesting the MX2 World Championship last season.
Paturel posted the following update on social media:
Today it was a first race with my KTM Leopard , I had really good felling on the bike , 3 hole shots and 3 wins . Pretty happy to do this race for preparing Arco , big thanks to my team @marchetti_racing_team_ktm @ktmfactoryracing and all the sponsors Aujourd’hui c’était ma première course avec ma KTM Léopard , je me suis senti vraiment bien sur la moto avec 3 holeshots et 3 victoires . C’était vraiment super d’avoir fait cette course de préparation avant Arco , un grand merci au public , supporters et au club pour cette magnifique journée .
