Paturel OUT of the USGP!
MX2 race winner Benoit Paturel has been ruled out of competing in the USGP according to his team manager, Marnicq Bervoets.
In an interview with Gatedrop, that you can read here, Bervoets said: “We don’t know for the moment how long he will be out for. He has problems with his liver, it’s bleeding a little bit and it’s damaged. He has to stay for one week in the hospital at the moment. They will then check-up again how he’s healing, then we will know more. It’s for sure that in USA he will not ride.”
With Dylan Ferrandis injured with a broken wrist, and now his potential replacement also in hospital, things aren’t looking quite as good for the defending champions as they did a week ago! Hopefully Paturel will make a full and speedy recovery and be available to race the prestigious event if required.
