New International race attracts big names!
It has recently been announced that the Redsand MX track in Spain will hold an International race this January. This will be another option for the top GP riders to add another pre-season race to their schedule before the start of the season. A lot of the top riders will already be in Spain anyway preparing for the season so it makes sense for them to compete at this event which takes place from the 16th – 22nd January.
Even though they have only announced the new race top riders have already been confirmed to take part. The following top seven MX2 riders will take part in the event:
Thomas Covington
Conrad Mewse
Thomas Kjer Olsen
Iker Larranaga
Jeremy Seewer
Bas Vaessen
Hunter Lawrence
Iker Larranaga, Thomas Kjer Olsen and Hunter Lawrence will make their debuts for their new teams in the form of 8Biano Husqvarna, Rockstar Husqvarna and Suzuki.
Next week it’s expected that another six big names announced to take part at the event. Stay tuned but it looks set to be an exciting new International race.
