New GP number for Jago Geerts in 2021
Jago Geerts has revealed that he’ll run a new GP number in 2021 as he’ll change from #193 to #93. The Belgian has ran that number in the past and he’s got it back for the MX2 World Championship which he’s happy about as it’s his favourite number.
“Hey guys. Awesome news in my mailbox today. For the next season I will be behind the starting gate with my favourite start number again. 2018-2019-2020 I had # 193 because #93 wasn’t free. From the very beginning in the 65cc class, 85cc, EMX 125 and EMX 250 #93 has been on my bike and race shirt. There is no big story hidden behind this. I took this number from Glenn, a good friend with whom I often trained at that time. Thank you to MXGP rider Jonathan Bengtsson to renounce # 93 due to injury”, Geerts stated on social media.
