MXGP of Trentino: Qualifying results!

Thomas Kjer Olsen rode a brilliant race to take his first ever MX2 qualification race win on his Rockstar Husqvarna. Jorge Prado nearly made it a 1-2 for the rookies but Jeremy Seewer made a move past him on the last lap.
There were tonnes of battles going on throughout the field in a stacked MX2 class. Cervellin put in a brilliant ride at his home GP and came home in fourth.
Brent Van Doninck and Thomas Covington also stood out as they suffered from bad starts but worked their way through the pack to sixth and seventh respectively. Brent had the fastest lap time of the race, he could be one to watch if he gets a good start tomorrow.
Championship contender, Benoit Paturel got a disastrous start but made his way back up to fourteenth on his Kemea Yamaha.

In the MXGP race, it was Antonio Cairoli who grabbed the holeshot and he controlled the entire race from the front to win his first qualifying race of the year. Gautier Paulin rode a really good race and stayed second the entire moto fighting of the challenge from Tim Gajser.
Febvre put in a good race to finish fourth ahead of Max Nagl. Nagl will be pleased with his moto as he passed Desalle to put in his best qualifying race of the season so far.
Jeffrey Herlings got a terrible start buried outside the top fifteen, he was able to work his way up to eleventh by the end of the race but he will be hoping for more tomorrow.
