MXGP of Argentina to take place in November?!
Infront have just confirmed that the MXGP of Patagonia in Argentina has been postponed due to the corona virus outbreak. The new date for the Argentinian round will be announced shortly but it’s thought the race will take place in November!
ESPN/FoxSports Journalist, Matias Sanchez is reporting that the GP will be rescheduled to the 21st and 22nd November. “The date of #MXGPArgentina that was going to be played in #VillaLaAngostura March 22 was postponed to November 22 due to the global epidemic of #coronavirus as announced by the governor of #Neuquen
@OmarGutierrezOk”.
Reliable MXGP journalist, Adam Wheeler has also heard the reports as well. “For the first time #mxgp looks to be finishing after the scheduled 2020 #MXoN with the postponement of the GP of Argentina to November 21-22. A remarkably long calendar and will be interesting to see how that effects teams and selection for Ernee. Or maybe more races will move”.
With the Motocross Des Nations heading to France on the 26th and 27th of September it’s far from ideal but there could be plenty more announcements set to come our way – stay tuned and we will bring the news as soon as we get it.
